We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician II to join our team and play a key role in enhancing safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor. If you have hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
+ Assist with developing and tracking Kaizen and continuous improvement activities to enhance workflows and productivity.
+ Support the design and fabrication of jigs, fixtures, and tools to optimize manufacturing processes.
+ Help standardize best practices in production, machine maintenance, and quality to ensure consistency across shifts.
+ Perform root cause analysis and assist with corrective actions for downtime, safety, and product quality issues.
+ Promote a culture of continuous improvement on the production floor by encouraging small, consistent enhancements.
+ Maintain and organize assembly and part carts to ensure operational efficiency.
+ Execute and track preventative maintenance for production tools and equipment.
+ Ensure all improvements meet quality, reliability, and consistency standards.
What You Bring:
+ Associate Degree in a technological field or equivalent experience in technology or fabrication.
+ 2-5 years of manufacturing experience with knowledge of mechanical processes, assembly, and testing.
+ Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles.
+ Fabrication skills, including designing, cutting, welding, and assembling jigs and fixtures.
+ Strong project management, time management, and analytical skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
+ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
