    **Rate:** $16.00-$18.00/HR

    _Available shifts for Security Officers will include 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays._

     

    Monday to Friday and/or day shift positions are not available.

    What Your Day May Look Like:

    + Conflict resolution and De-escalation.

    + Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.

    + Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

    + Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.

    + Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.

    + Provide detailed written witness reports.

    Security Officer Minimum Requirements:

    + Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.

    + Valid Driver's License and clean driving record **required** . **(All our positions will include driver certification).**

    + Have a High School Diploma or GED **or** be willing to complete the GED program within six months.

    + Average to above average computer skills.

    + Customer service background preferred.

    + Security experience a plus.

    + Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

    + Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

    + Have reliable transportation ( _private transportation is required_ ) (Public transportation is generally not available at our various site locations).

    + Have reliable working communication device ( _cell phone_ ).

    + Have the legal right to work in the United States.

    + Ability to speak, read, and write English.

    + Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.

    + Willing to participate in the Company's Security Officer pre-employment screening process, **including drug screen (mouth swab and/or urinalyses are used)** and background investigation (drug screen includes THC).
