• Maintenance Technician

    Akebono Brake Corporation (Elizabethtown, KY)


    We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technicians for 2nd shift (2PM - 1030PM).  Associates will be responsible for providing support for improvements in maintenance department. Candidates should preferably have:

     

    + Strong working Knowledge of Equipment

    + Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    + Ability to understand and troubleshoot ladder logic

    + Need to have basic understanding of schematics

    + Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical circuits

    + Good knowledge base of machines and equipment.

    + Programming PLC’s, HMI’s and various other technologies.

    + Good communication skills (with Production, APS and Engineering).

    + Maintenance Technology degree is a plus

    + Good working attitude

    + Willingness to learn

    + Mechanical skills required

    + Preferred to have experience with CNC controls (Fanuc and Mitsubishi)

    + 3+ years of experience in maintenance.

    + Associate with formal training (school) or experience is a plus.

    + Must be willing to work any shift
