Opportunity Overview
The Software Engineering team in North Reading, MA is looking for an intern with web UI / frontend experience to join our team and help us build a robust Design System with React components. The ideal candidate has a passion for learning, developing high quality software, and solving complex problems.
+ Balance various tasks related to requirements definition and analysis, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
+ Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout all stages of development
+ This role has some hybrid flexibility however the candidate must be able to work on-site at the North Reading office.

+ Experience developing web UIs using React
+ Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, JIRA
+ Able to clearly express your ideas and concepts both written and verbally
Preferred Experience and Requirements:
+ Familiarity with development lifecycles including Agile
+ Knowledge or prior usage of a design system component library.
+ Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly interfaces
+ Experience using UX design tools such as Figma
+ Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
+ Familiarity with Windows desktop UI frameworks (e.g., XAML) and C# is a plus
Education
+ Currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
+ GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or higher
+ Demonstrated leadership qualities through projects or extracurricular activities
