    Citibank, N.A. seeks a Balance Sheet Management Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.

     

    Duties: Perform analysis and prepare detailed presentations related to the financial performance of firm utilizing a combination of Excel and PowerPoint. Contribute to the governance of funding, investing and analytics of the balance sheet. Participate in managing liquidity and interest rate risk, the capital/legal entity structure and capital planning as well as managing rating agency relationships. Be involved in capital markets activities including commercial paper and securitization; liquidity, accrual risk oversight and transfer pricing. Assist in the execution of forward-looking processes including forecasts, strategic plans, operating plans, outlooks, R&O collections, system reconciliations, CFO reviews, quarter end flash results, and quarterly earnings presentations and investor conferences. Assist in the execution of advanced analysis and insight of organization’s financial results using financial models, Pearl, FRM, Knime and Tableau. Contribute to the completion of various internal processes including Outlook, CEO Quarterly Business Reviews, Quarterly Multi-Year Multi-Scenario, Regulator and Board decks. Identify and assist with testing of re-engineering opportunities to enhance processes and controls and achieve best in class practices. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

     

    Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field and 3 years of experience as a Product Control Analyst, Financial Analyst or related position involving drafting financial statements for a global bank. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint; Pearl, FRM; Financial analysis; Regulatory compliance; Cross-Functional department collaboration; and Balance Sheet reconciliation.
