    What You'll Be Doing

    + Manage state and local income tax return preparation and provision calculations.

    + Ensure timely and accurate state and local income tax payments, including extension and estimate payments, and manage the tracking of payment deposits, outstanding refund requests, and carryforward attributes.

    + Represent the company in state tax audits and disputes.

    + Research and advise on potential state tax strategies, including identifying applicable credits, incentives, or other tax savings opportunities, and risk mitigation.

    + Advise on the state tax impacts of various business initiatives.

    + Strong knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations.

    + Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

    + Proficiency in OneSource tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
