Job Descriptions:

Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial heating and air conditioning systems, has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at our corporate office in Bryan, OH.

Scope and Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will support the plant manufacturing engineering functions performed by the manufacturing engineering staff.

Duties include assisting the assigned Manufacturing Engineering Manager with the following:

+ Process Documentation

+ Data entry

+ Data Analysis

+ Work Methods Evaluations and/or Time Studies

+ Workstation Layouts

+ Assist in structuring maintenance PM system

+ All other duties as directed by the engineer or manager.

Required Experience:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

+ Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college with at least 1 year completed, pursuing an engineering degree preferably in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.

+ Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

+ Experience or coursework in SolidWorks and Auto Cad

+ Basic knowledge of hand tools with mechanical aptitude

+ Motivation to complete an assigned task with minimal supervision.

+ Working knowledge of statistical analysis is a plus.

+ Understanding of manufacturing processes.
