Job Title: Direct Hire WEEKEND Warehouse Distribution Specialist

Shift: Friday through Sunday 5am to 5:30pm

Pay: $17.76 hour

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Warehouse Distribution Specialist** to join our weekend team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for verifying outgoing shipments, preparing products for delivery, and maintaining accurate records—all while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. This role also plays a key part in keeping the warehouse organized, clean, and operating efficiently. You'll contribute to inventory control and be involved in ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Accurately fulfill customer orders and internal transfers following shipping procedures

+ Prepare items for shipment using appropriate packaging tools (banding, wrapping, palletizing)

+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move inventory and materials

+ Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments according to established procedures

+ Label and sort items for inventory; organize materials using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse; perform general maintenance and report service needs

+ Participate in regular physical inventory counts and daily cycle counts

+ Update inventory records in the ERP system and help identify expired or obsolete items

+ Support special projects and assist management with additional duties as needed

+ Occasionally work overtime, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent

+ Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse or factory environment (shipping/receiving preferred)

+ Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English; basic math skills required

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Ability to obtain forklift/lift truck certification (previous experience is a plus)

+ Comfortable using modern business tools including Microsoft Office, email, and ERP systems
