    Job Summary:

    Medical City Heart Hospital is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon to join their established employed practice and growing service line.

    Qualified Candidates:

    + Experience in all aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery with a focus on heart transplantation, VAD and mechanical circulatory support (ECMO and impella)

    + Additional training in heart transplant/mechanical circulatory support is desirable

    + Ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within the team of the growing program

    + Partner with an additional CT surgeon

    + Practice primarily based at Medical City Heart Hospital in Dallas with an opportunity for additional work in satellite hospitals

    + Excellent perfusionists, cardiac anesthesiologists, surgical physician assistants, and critical care colleagues

    About Medical City Heart Hospital:

    + Facility consists of 3 CVORs, 2 hybrid ORs, 3 cardiac catherization labs, 3 biplane EP/interventional catherization labs, 15-bed CVICU and 48-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 attending/NP coverage and a cardiovascular outpatient center

    + 3 Floor addition to a dedicated Heart Hospital with a 28 CVICU bed expansion and 26 PCU bed addition coming September 2025

    + 3 New Heart Failure Cardiologists with plans to recruit into the growing program

    + Surgeon office and clinic attached to hospital
