This role works on an "as needed" basis, this is a part-time position.
The part time Flights Operations Support role provides support to key projects and needs inside of Delta Air
Lines Flight Training & Standards and Delta Professional Services (DPS).
This role works on an ‘as needed’ basis for the area assigned. Flight Ops
Support candidate should have a basic understanding and knowledge of FAA Part
121 air carrier operations and moderate to expert knowledge of specific areas
of focus.
We are
looking for a meticulous and proactive FOS - Flight Acceptance Scheduler to
join our team and ensure the smooth coordination of flight operations.
**JobSummary** : The
Flight Acceptance Scheduler will be responsible for supporting and coordinating
the acceptance of flights, ensuring that all operational requirements are met.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate the acceptance ofincoming and outgoing flights, ensuring compliance with regulatoryrequirements and company policies.
+ Communicate with variousdepartments, including flight operations, maintenance, and groundservices, to ensure all necessary preparations are completed.
+ Monitor flight schedules andadjust plans as needed to accommodate changes in weather, aircraftavailability, and other operational factors.
+ Maintain accurate records offlight acceptance activities and report any discrepancies or issues tomanagement.
+ Collaborate with flight crewsand ground staff to ensure timely and efficient turnaround of aircraft.
+ Assist in the development andimplementation of scheduling tools and software to improve operationalefficiency.
+ Ensure adherence to safetystandards and regulations in all scheduling activities.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
+ Previous experience in flight operations or scheduling within the aviation industry.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Familiar with Smartsheet, Aerodocs, Word, and Adobe
+ Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
+ Knowledge of FAA regulations and airline operations.
