Summary:

A Delivery Driver will primarily spend time completing deliveries and spending remaining time working in the warehouse. Each day will be different, depending on shipments and customer orders. Ideal candidates will be able to work well with a team and on their own. We deliver material throughout the Minneapolis metro area to various customer job sites and other places as needed. Drivers will load and unload trucks primarily alone.

Pay: $20-22/hr for non-CDL drivers

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

In order to operate our trucks, you will need a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history. A CDL endorsement is only required for some positions--contact your recruiter if you have questions. Drivers must be able to obtain and maintain eligibility for their DOT medical card.

+ Authorization to work in the United States without need for sponsorship now or in the future

+ Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen

+ Ability to regularly lift 70 pounds

+ Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and operate a computer and smart phone

+ Regular and consistent attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

Delivery driving is strongly preferred for this position as well as any other warehouse experience. Preference given to those who have heavy material lifting in their delivery driving.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

+ Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards

+ Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery

+ Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor

+ Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle

+ Deliver/pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner

+ Pick up material from vendors

+ Receive incoming freight

+ Keep a clean and organized warehouse

+ Stock material on shelves

+ Pick orders

+ Processing returns from customers and to vendors

+ Other warehouse duties as assigned

+ Operate a Microsoft-based computer system and smartphone

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $20 to $22 hourly.
