Position Title: EAM Value Realization Analyst, Emerging Talent Intern
Hourly Rate: $22.00 (Post-Graduate)
OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT:
The HQ-EAM Value Realization team is responsible for the oversight of asset management activities within Subways, Railroads, Buses and Bridges & Tunnels (B&T). Our main priority is to create and execute asset related projects that improve the system performance, save on capital and maintenance costs, and promote efficiency across all agencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Analysis of EAM Asset Data
+ Managing projects with a variety of stakeholders
+ Creating scripts and automations using coding languages
+ Creating GIS products utilizing the ESRI suite of software
+ Provide technical support for the applications created within the group
+ Create versatile presentations for board or steering committee meetings
+ Creation of new engineering projects to provide value and improve service across the MTA
+ Helping the Subways or Rail teams if needed
PROJECTS:
+ Outage Visualization Analysis Platform (OVAP)
+ Subways Data Quality Improvement Initiative
+ MBL and Switch Winterization Project
+ Water Leak Intrusion Dashboard Project
+ Capital Asset Enrichment Project
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
+ The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.
+ The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
+ Matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA
+ Major(s) Preferred: Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering (Various), Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Transportation Planning, Math or a related field preferred.
