    Description We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team, situated in ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, Maryland. In this role, you will be tasked with handling payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, maintaining records, and resolving payroll discrepancies. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately process weekly payroll for hourly employees

    • Assist with the processing of semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees

    • Maintain and update accurate payroll records for all employees

    • Handle new permanent wage processing

    • Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

    • Prepare and file local, state, and federal payroll taxes

    • Manage employment verification procedures

    • Monitor and record vacation, sick time, and terminations

    • Ensure accurate maintenance of W2 tax controls for quarterly and year-end reconciliation

    • Review and approve invoices for hourly payroll employees, ensuring appropriate documentation is provided. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Payroll Clerk.

    • Proven experience with the Kronos Timekeeping System and UKG Pro.

    • Demonstrable skills in Auditing and Benefit Functions.

    • Proficiency in managing Full Cycle Payroll.

    • Expertise in handling Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees.

    • Experience in dealing with Payroll - Garnishments.

    • Ability to process Weekly Payroll.
