Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland. This role will be based in office. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be tasked with supporting the Payroll Administrator, processing payroll for employees, reviewing and uploading timesheet information, and handling various payroll-related responsibilities such as verification of withholdings and employee inquiry.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Payroll Specialist with various tasks and projects
• Accurately process payroll for employees on a regular schedule
• Upload and review timesheet information from various systems
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experienced with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledgeable in using ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with Ceridian
• Ability to use Crystal Reports
• Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration
• Knowledge of About Time software
• Proficient in handling Accounting Functions
• Capable of conducting Audits
• Ability to manage Benefit Functions
• Experience with Certified Payroll
• Detail oriented in Payroll (CPP) preferred
• Familiarity with bi-Monthly Payroll
• Experience with Full Cycle Payroll
• Knowledge of HR Payroll System
• Ability to manage Multistate Payroll
• Proficiency in Payroll management
• Experience with Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees
• Knowledge of Payroll - Garnishments
• Experience with Payroll - Union
• Detail oriented in Payroll Compliance preferred
• Capable of handling Payroll Functions
• Proficiency in using Payroll software
• Experience with Payroll Vendor management
• Ability to manage Payroll Transactions
• Experience in Processing Payroll
• Ability to Reconcile Payroll
• Experience with Benefits Payroll
• Knowledge of Garnishment Calculations
• Ability to Process Garnishments
• Experience with Garnishments
• Ability to manage Approved Timesheets
• Knowledge of Viewpoint Vista software
• Experience with ADP - Payroll
• Proficiency in Excel VBA
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Withholdings management
