Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. In the retail industry, the role of a Front Desk Coordinator is pivotal in maintaining seamless operations at our front desk. You will be tasked with answering calls, greeting guests, ensuring accurate data entry, and managing email communications.
Responsibilities
• Effectively answer and manage incoming calls
• Greet guests with a detail oriented and friendly demeanor
• Ensure accurate data input across various systems
• Maintain clear and efficient email communication with customers and team members
• Transfer calls to appropriate departments as required
• Diligently take and relay messages to the concerned individuals
• Provide exceptional service as the first point of contact at the front desk
• Handle other receptionist duties as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role such as Front Desk Coordinator or Receptionist in the retail industry.
• Proficient in handling receptionist duties including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing a multi-line phone system.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in using computer software including Office Suite and Point of Sale systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and retail operations would be advantageous.
• Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and after regular business hours as required by the retail industry.
