Description

We are looking for a QA Testing Analyst: III (Manual) to join our team. This role is based in Columbus, Ohio, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a QA Testing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity for an enterprise system conversion project. You will be responsible for crafting test plans, verifying large volumes of data, and actively participating in project meetings.

This will be a W2 opportunity and is hybrid in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Craft comprehensive test plans to ensure coverage of all business system flows

• Manually verify and validate large volumes of data at rest and in transit through the systems under test

• Use company-approved tools to document test cases and track outcomes from test executions

• Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and deliver reliably

• Report defects and follow-up through fixes and closure using Azure DevOps

• Develop and maintain complex data sets to fully exercise end-to-end testing, integration, and system level testing

• Create SQL queries for various databases to manage test data and verify program outputs

• Adapt to changing timelines and business needs while ensuring the highest level of data accuracy at all stages of the migration

• Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment

• Participate in off-hour production releases in a support capacity.

Requirements • Possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders

• Proficient in documentation to maintain comprehensive records of testing processes

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Ability to conduct training sessions for entry level team members

• Excellent planning skills to manage testing schedules effectively

• Research capabilities to stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies

• Experience in materials handling, ensuring safe and efficient management of testing resources

• Proficient in database management and scheduling for streamlined operations

• Experience in production environments, ensuring seamless onboarding of testing processes

• Knowledge of collection processes to gather necessary data for testing

• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management

• Ability to manage stakeholders' expectations and deliver on commitments

• Python programming skills for scripting and automation in testing

• Excellent collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment

• Experience in maintaining logs for tracking testing processes and outcomes

• Skilled in verification processes to ensure the accuracy of testing results

• Experience in migration processes to ensure smooth transitions between systems

• Proficiency in Windows OS for system-level testing

• Knowledge of REST API for testing web services

• Proficiency in R Code for statistical computing and graphics in testing

• Ability to manage timelines effectively to ensure prompt delivery
