Description

We are in search of a Data Analyst to become a part of our team in the Service industry, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will be tasked with assisting internal teams with various different internal data, helping with forecasting, and ad hoc reporting. Advanced Excel proficiency is a requirement for this role. Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with and creating complex data and reporting spreadsheets and dashboards. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Specific Excel experience needed:

• Utilizing PowerQuery for data import from various spreadsheets/systems.

• Implementing Dynamic Array Functions.

• Utilizing functions for analysis, including index, match, indirect functions, etc.

• Utilizing logic-based arithmetic functions, and logical functions.

• Calculating weighted averages.

• Manipulating Date functions to organize daily data into monthly, and monthly into yearly formats.

• Ensuring data presentations are well-structured.

• Employing Data Mining Techniques and Data Visualization for comprehensive analysis.

• Using Microsoft tools, Analytics, and Business Intelligence for efficient data processing.

• Creating Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Data Mining Techniques is essential.

• Must be adept at Data Visualization to effectively communicate findings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel, is required.

• Demonstrated ability to apply Analytics techniques to solve complex business problems.

• Must possess knowledge and experience in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and practices.

• Ability to create insightful Dashboards to represent data findings is required.

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI to analyze data and share insights is necessary.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis are mandatory.
