Description

A leading law firm in Seattle is looking to add another Litigation Paralegal to their Civil Litigation department. This role requires 5+ years of experience working in Litigation as a Paralegal.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings

• Draft, proofread, and organize a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements

• Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and procedures during the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing cases

• Take charge of case files, maintain case calendars, and track litigation deadlines to ensure timely filings

• Respond to client requests for documents, pleadings, or information in a timely and efficient manner

• Assist with the management of clients, counsel, and courts, ensuring smooth communication and coordination

• Manage the deposition process when the need arises

• Draft responsive emails for attorney review and send email responses as instructed by the attorney

• Assist with litigation and drafting pleadings/forms for court and discovery, displaying strong communication and writing skills

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal

• Proficiency in Civil Litigation

• Proficient in managing Civil Litigation matters

• Experience in Litigation filing and management

• Experience in Personal Injury Defense cases
