    Position: Senior Finance Leader – Corporate FP& A

    Are you an experienced finance professional with strong multi-entity FP& A experience ready to step into a highly visible role supporting senior leadership across a global, public company? Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Finance Leader to join their Corporate FP& A team. This high-impact role offers exceptional career growth potential and the opportunity to rotate into more senior leadership positions within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the primary FP& A contact for 8–9 business units

    + Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned departments with full ownership of financial planning.

    + Advise business leaders on strategic spend decisions and monitor adherence to financial targets.

    + Deliver high-quality presentations to senior executives and communicate financial insights clearly and confidently.

    + Support quarterly reporting processes with hands-on involvement in key deliverables.

    + Partner with the Accounting team to resolve departmental questions and ensure alignment, without directly handling technical accounting matters.

    + Work closely with internal stakeholders across functions and divisions, helping guide strategic and operational decisions through financial insight.

    Work Environment & Perks:

    + Hybrid work environment strongly preferred (Houston-based): just a few days per month in-office, especially around quarter-end.

    + Fully remote is a close second option for exceptional candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones.

    + Occasional travel (domestic and international), expected to be less than 5% annually.

    + Exceptional work-life balance, with an average of 45 hours/week, apart from 8 intensive days during quarterly close.

    Interested candidates should possess:

    A mix of business acumen, ownership mentality, and the ability to operate comfortably in a visible, strategic role. Prior experience in public accounting or investment banking is valued only in combination with direct FP& A and budget ownership experience.

    Requirements

    Preferred Profile:

    + 7–10 years of relevant finance experience, with a strong background in corporate FP& A.

    + Multi-entity FP& A experience supporting at least 2 business units (ideally more), within companies ranging from $700M to $3B in revenue.

    + Proven experience owning budgets and working directly with department leaders to provide financial direction and accountability.

    + A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA, CMA, or MBA are a plus).

    + Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills—comfortable delivering presentations and explaining complex data to C-Level executives.

    + Strong general accounting knowledge and ability to work as a liaison between FP& A and accounting functions.

    + Proficiency with Excel and financial systems; SAP experience is required. OneStream experience is a significant plus.

    + Demonstrated track record of leadership, ownership, and accountability within a matrixed, global environment.
