    UX/UI Designer – Consumer-Facing Digital Healthcare

     

    Pay Rate: $60-64/hour

     

    Contract Duration: 5 months with potential for extension or full-time conversion

     

    Hours: 40 hours/week

    About the Role:

    Robert Half is partnering with a leading consumer-focused technology company’s healthcare team in search of a UX/UI Designer to assist in revolutionizing direct-to-consumer digital care. This role is ideal for someone passionate about designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for healthcare services. You will be part of a small, dynamic design team working to create a seamless, engaging digital storefront for telehealth services that combines the convenience of online shopping with trusted clinical care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design Consumer-Facing Interfaces: Transform business and product requirements into intuitive, easy-to-use user interfaces for direct-to-consumer digital healthcare services.

    + End-to-End Execution: Take ownership of the final stages of design, including refining user interactions, documenting design patterns, and preparing detailed specs for engineering handoff.

    + Collaborative Development: Partner with cross-functional teams including developers, legal, and editorial to ensure design feasibility and smooth implementation.

    + Agile Design Process: Work in 2-week agile sprints, managing multiple consumer-facing design assignments and iterating based on user and team feedback.

    + Ensure Accessibility and Usability: Ensure all designs meet visual and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA compliance) while aligning with the established design system.

    + Independent Project Ownership: Lead smaller design projects, delivering polished designs that enhance the user experience, while supporting senior designers on larger, strategic initiatives..

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 3–6 years of experience designing consumer-facing UX/UI solutions for web or software applications.

    + Expertise in Figma, including interaction design, documentation, and component creation.

    + Proven experience focusing on user interface design—specifically for consumer-facing products—not branding or conceptual strategy.

    + Ability to manage and execute multiple design tasks independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

    + Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, especially in handling feedback and supporting engineering teams.

    + Degree in Design, HCI, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.

    + Experience in healthcare or direct-to-consumer digital services is a plus.
