Are you looking to jumpstart your accounting career and gain valuable hands-on experience with a large, well-established company? We’re seeking an Entry-Level Staff Accountant for a 6-month project that offers an incredible opportunity to build your resume and develop skills working alongside seasoned finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and assisting with reconciliations.

+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, such as processing invoices and posting payments.

+ Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

+ Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review.

+ Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.

+ Perform additional ad hoc tasks and projects as requested by the accounting team.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software tools.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Internships or coursework in accounting or finance are a plus.

+ Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite is an added advantage.

+ Enthusiastic and eager to learn from an experienced team.
