Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a diligent Attorney in Houston, Texas. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in our legal team, primarily focusing on document-intensive review. The role will be based in our office and requires the review and categorization of a high volume of documents to ensure that the company operates within legal parameters.

Responsibilities:

• Categorize and organize reviewed documents effectively using our data management system.

• Review a variety of documents such as corporate decisions, complex commercial agreements, and court proceedings in detail.

• Collaborate with the legal team to identify potential legal risks and provide informed recommendations.

• Ensure all reviewed documents comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.

• Provide regular updates on the document review process and share insights during team meetings.

• Utilize skills in Case Management Software, Adobe Acrobat, and 3M for efficient document management.

• Handle complaints and administer claims as part of the legal process.

• Use your experience in Civil Litigation and Briefing to enhance the document review process.

• Leverage your expertise in Conveyancer and Consumer Electronics to manage and review documents effectively. Requirements • Possession of a valid license to practice law

• Proficiency in using 3M software for legal research and documentation

• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for PDF file management and editing

• Experience with Case Management Software to manage and track legal cases efficiently

• Proficient in using Conveyancer software for real estate transactions

• Ability to handle Document Management tasks effectively

• Strong briefing skills to communicate case details succinctly

• Experience in Civil Litigation and understanding of the process and strategies

• Proficient in Claim Administration, able to manage and process claims efficiently

• Ability to handle Complaints professionally, ensuring client satisfaction

• Experience or interest in Consumer Electronics, as it relates to legal implications and regulations
