They are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Processor to join their team and play a vital role in ensuring smooth and timely processing of loan applications.
Job Summary:
The Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing loan applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. This role serves as a key liaison between loan officers, underwriters, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Review and process loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
+ Gather and verify required documentation (income, credit reports, appraisals, etc.).
+ Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third parties to collect and clarify information.
+ Submit complete loan files to underwriting for approval.
+ Ensure all regulatory and compliance guidelines are met throughout the process.
+ Monitor loan pipeline and meet deadlines for processing.
+ Maintain clear and detailed records of loan files and status updates.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in loan processing (mortgage, consumer, or commercial loans).
+ Strong knowledge of lending procedures, loan documentation, and applicable regulations.
+ Proficient in loan origination systems (LOS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Strong communication and customer service abilities.
+ Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
