• Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

    Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to be based in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is pivotal in our finance team and involves overseeing the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, managing global transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the efficient and accurate processing of supplier invoices, payments, and expense reports in our Procure to Pay system.

    • Manage and process global accounts payable transactions, including dealing with currency conversions and international tax compliance.

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, both domestic and international, ensuring accurate record-keeping for all transactions.

    • Lead and coordinate the payment process, ensuring compliance with company terms and local regulations for international suppliers.

    • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable balances and vendor statements, providing accurate reports to senior management.

    • Identify opportunities for improvement in the accounts payable processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency.

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements, including international tax laws and regulations.

    • Support internal and external audits as required.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflows and resolve any cross-functional issues related to accounts payable.

    • Utilize accounting software systems to manage the accounts payable module, ensuring data integrity and supporting system enhancements. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

    • Proficiency in Account Coding

    • Experience with Accounting Software Systems

    • Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services

    • Familiarity with Concur software

    • Proven abilities in Data Processing

    • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

    • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting

    • Experience in Auditing

    • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
