Lisa Cole with Robert Half is working with a great company that is looking for a Senior Accountant. This well-established company in Sacramento is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our in-office team. About the Role:

In this role, you will be a key part of our accounting department, assisting with day-to-day financial operations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Depending on experience, you may also support budgeting, forecasting, and more advanced accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform daily general ledger accounting tasks

+ Prepare and post journal entries

+ Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close

+ Support AP/AR processes and help resolve discrepancies

+ Prepare financial reports for internal use

+ Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

+ Support budgeting and forecasting (Senior Accountant level)

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 5+ years of accounting experience

+ High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
