At Jacobs, we don’t just design roads—we create transportation solutions that shape communities and improve connectivity for generations to come. If you’re passionate about bringing visionary ideas to life and driving impactful infrastructure projects, this is your opportunity to lead and innovate.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roadway Project Manager to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you’ll oversee and manage roadway and highway design projects across the state, with a particular focus on FDOT District 5 and Florida Turnpike Enterprise initiatives. You’ll collaborate with a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team to develop innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance transportation networks and improve mobility.

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on technical designs, mentor engineering teams, and play a critical role in growing our transportation practice in Central and North Florida. Bring your expertise in project management and roadway design, and we’ll provide you with the challenges, resources, and career growth to continue making an impact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Serve as Project Manager for highway and bridge design projects, including operational and safety improvements.

    * Lead technical teams in developing solutions to complex roadway design challenges, requiring a high degree of innovation and ingenuity.

    * Provide technical expertise by formulating and developing advanced design concepts, techniques, and standards.

    * Ensure effective utilization of engineering personnel while maintaining high technical quality standards.

    * Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to secure new projects and expand client relationships.

    * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.

    * Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) License and ability to serve as EOR

    * Extensive post-graduate experience in transportation/highway engineering and management of roadway design projects.

    * Prior experience working with FDOT, ideally within District 5 and Florida Turnpike Enterprise.

This is a hybrid role. Ideally, you will work from a local Jacobs office on average 2 days per week. Travel for this role is less than 10% per year. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
