2nd Shift / Sunday to Thursday / 3pm-11:30pm - Additional days or overtime as required to complete the daily demands

About the Role:

As a core member of our distribution team, you will be expected to:

+ Work as a team in a fast paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy

+ Work in our frozen warehouse picking orders!

What We’re Looking For:

+ Capable of working as a team in a fast-paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy

+ Tolerance for working in a frozen, -20oF environment. Hey, we give you a freezer suit and more frequent breaks!

+ Commitment to living Perry’s “values”

+ Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific Safe Quality Food requirements and Safety Guidelines

+ Flexibility to work daily overtime as needed

Essential Duties:

+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly

+ Ability to work in an extreme cold environment reaching temperatures below -20oF

+ Capable of pushing/pulling up to 2000 lbs. for an extended amount of time (on carts, dollies, pallets) within temperatures of -20oF

+ Must be able to stand and walk for upwards of 12 miles per shift while maintaining footing on icy/slippery floors

+ Ability to use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to over the head at times

+ Ability to perform basic math calculations

+ Successfully complete OSHA certification for powered industrial vehicles

+ All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Pay

Base Pay Rate: $20.27 / hour - $22.53 / hour

Freezer Premium: $1.25 / hour

Shift Differential: $0.50 / hour
