We are seeking a **Security Application Specialist 3** to join our **Security and Electronic Systems (SES)** business Unit. As part of **(SES)** Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for design, implementation, operations & maintenance, and cybersecurity for large complex resilient hardware and virtualized infrastructure to ensure implemented solutions meet stakeholder needs, standards, and performance requirements.

Responsibilities

As a Security Applications Specialist, you will be working with a team responsible for the deployment and sustainment of global physical security technology projects.

Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:

+ Manage physical security system support to meet service level agreements

+ Analyze physical security system performance and recommend improvements

+ Resolve complex system issues for physical security systems and networks

+ Triage customer support calls, providing Tier 1 help desk support and Tier 2 escalation

+ Communicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors and technical specialists

+ Train system users and other system support personnel

+ Analyze and modify preventive maintenance checklists for system changes

+ Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement corrective actions

+ Perform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, database size and integrity checks

+ Organize and prepare detailed documentation of system performance, including service request records and analysis

+ Perform desktop hardware and operating system set-up, imaging software loading, and antivirus updates

+ Perform all duties with minimal direct supervision

Qualifications

**Clearance/Citizen Type:** Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information

Position / Candidate Requirements

+ 10+ Years of Experience with a High School Diploma

+ 2+ years of experience with a major global access control system.

+ System administration experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to perform with little or no direction.

+ Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.

+ Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

+ Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio Skills is a plus.

+ Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

Desired / Advantageous Qualifications

+ Experience working on a service/support team for commercial customers.

+ Experience working in a trouble ticket system. Zendesk experience preferred.

Pay Range

USD $114,480.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
