    About the Role

Are you an experienced Medical Assistant looking to step into a leadership role while staying hands-on in patient care? Join our collaborative team at Mount Auburn Hospital, where your skills and passion for helping others will make a difference every day.

    About the Practice

Mount Auburn Hematology/Oncology is a growing and collaborative practice made up of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff, all working together to deliver exceptional care. The team treats a wide range of diagnoses—from the time of diagnosis through survivorship—with a strong focus on GI, pulmonary, genitourinary, and breast cancers. Patients also benefit from access to preventive medicine through the High-Risk Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program, which uses advanced radiology monitoring and surveillance.

The team works closely with specialties such as radiation oncology and the BIDMC Infusion Clinic, and partners with the philanthropy-funded Herzstein Wellness Center. Staff and patients alike have access to integrative therapies including complementary massage, acupuncture, and yoga, supporting a holistic approach to care and wellness.

    Why Mount Auburn?

Mount Auburn Hospital offers the best of both worlds — the warmth and familiarity of a community hospital, combined with the resources, innovation, and career growth opportunities of a leading academic medical center. You’ll be part of a close-knit care team where everyone knows your name, yet connected to the broader Beth Israel Lahey Health system, with access to tools, training, and system-wide support to help you grow your career.
