Overview: The Manager of Market Data Services is responsible for engaging with key internal stakeholders and mission critical vendors to ensure consistent alignment with the business strategy to provide for the best market data, market intelligence and data feeds while optimizing cost, quality and utilization,

Job Duties

+ Demonstrated experience of the Market Data landscape including Exchange Data, Rating Agencies, Credit Bureau, Market data feeds etc.

+ Ability to source and curate market data effectively in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong experience negotiating market data contracts; clear understanding of commercial terms and conditions, license agreements, direct feed access clauses, utilization-based pricing schemes, enterprise agreements etc.

+ Partner with business team and legal group in the negotiation of market data agreements; understand risk factors and incongruencies in vendor proposals

+ Provide subject matter expertise by interpreting and clearly communicating contractual requirements to stakeholders utilizing market data.

+ Best practices and experience related to asset tracking and usage (credentials, access points, license keys, data inventories etc.

+ Experience for coordinating and responding to market data provider audits.

+ Must be a initiative-taker, organized, diligent, proactive, extremely detail oriented and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Must be able to work autonomously and build strong relationships with internal clients and external data providers.

+ Ability to effectively communicate requirements and perspective/analysis to internal stakeholders and provide recommended solutions.

+ Strong Excel, Tableau, PP skills

+ Experience with market data inventory systems such as MDM or FITS is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Minimum 7 years of experience in market data, procurement, software asset management or comparable discipline such as BPO management, financial analysis, sales support
