TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC location for an Inventory Specialist II who will support the Recon/Refurbish department. Primary Responsibilities:

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory needs and Customer Tool status to Operations management.

Primary Duties:

+ Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.

+ Counts and reconciles chosen and/or random part numbers and locations daily.

+ Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies.

+ Compiles, verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in parts needed for tool repair/refurbishment as related to inventory.

+ Partners with Supply Chain as necessary to communicate any parts issues/needs to ensure timely replenishment.

+ Assists in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by supervisor.

+ Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures and contractual obligations.

+ Partners with Leads and material handlers to train on proper inventory procedures.

+ Other duties as required and assigned.

Education and Experience:

+ PC literate with experience with SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

+ High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

+ Minimum 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training.

+ Experience operating a standup lift (order picker/reach lift) (preferred, not required)

Essential Skills:

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual

+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

+ Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets

+ Ability to communicate and train other team members

Physical Demands

+ Standing for long periods of time.

+ Repetitive motion.

+ Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.

+ Frequent lifting up to 50lbs – team lifts over 50lbs.

+ Able to work in various temperature conditions.

Internal Qualifications

+ No final warnings

+ No more than 6 attendance points

+ Efficiency and Quality goals met for the previous 3 months.
