    **Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer Intern (Summer)

    **Job Summary:** MOR PPM, Inc., seeks a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the Project Management team in a variety of assignments. The Engineer Intern will assist the Project Management Team in meeting the Company’s objectives and goals, which includes ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within a budget and per contract specifications.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Assist with the execution and management of special projects.

    + Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.

    + Comply with all company operating policies, procedures and safety programs as established.

    + Other duties may be assigned as specific project dictates.

    Experience/Education:

    + Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required

    + Must be enrolled in a Engineering program from a University or Technical School.

    + Willingness to learn and adapt to overcome obstacles in the field.

    Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

    + Must complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign

    + May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

    + Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above

    + Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas

    + Must have full range of motion consistent with age

    + Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders

    + Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises

    + Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces

    + Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
