    Key Responsibilities:

    Innovation: Develop cutting-edge solutions in geophysical data processing, inversion technology, and AI to bring significant value to SLB. We are working on transitional technology for the next decades of applied industrial geophysics!

     

    Real-World Impact: Focus on processing real-world geophysical data to solve complex challenges.

     

    Collaboration: Work with multiple departments to drive all phases of technology development, from idea generation to production-level implementation. This includes writing technical justifications, managing projects, evaluating milestones, and commercializing new technologies.

     

    Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate new technologies and research findings by writing patents, publishing in scientific journals, presenting at technical meetings, and engaging with outside professionals.

     

    Educational Background: Master’s or PhD degree in Geophysics, or a related field such as Physics, or Engineering with relevant work experience in coding.

     

    Industry Experience: Experience in academia and/or the oil industry, particularly in software development, inversion, and machine learning for seismic and multiphysics data.

     

    Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in computational programming (C/C++, MATLAB, Python, etc.) for standalone or plugin application development for parallel CPU and GPU clusters.

     

    Specialized Knowledge: Experience with Full Waveform Inversion (FWI) is a plus.

     

    Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills in English.
