Pediatric Hospitalist** **Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center

Penn State Health St Joseph Medical Center of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is recruiting a **Pediatric Hospitalist.**

+ Join a group of 3 other dedicated pediatricians

+ Coverage for Level 1 Newborn Nursery, Inpatient General Pediatric patients, and ED consults.

+ Level 2 NICU on site with 24/7 coverage by neonatologists/NNPs

+ Community Hospital within a larger health system that has support of Children’s Hospital

+ Shifts include daytime rounding at the hospital and overnight home call

+ Teaching hospital with a family medicine residency program and medical students

What we’re seeking:

+ BC/BE in General Pediatrics. Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine experience preferred, certification not required.

+ MD, D.O., or foreign equivalent

+ Ability to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

+ Participation in teaching and engagement with division’s quality improvement
