CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Java, Python, GCP opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

**Location:** Phoenix, AZ

**Duration:** 8 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Java and web-based applications.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.

+ Contribute to the development of AI-powered applications and integrations.

+ Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

+ Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

+ Support the migration and deployment of applications to cloud environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

+ Maintain and troubleshoot applications in development and production environments.

Skills:

+ Proficiency in Java with strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks.

+ Working knowledge of Python for scripting or backend development.

+ Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

+ Familiarity with public cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

+ Understanding of Machine Learning and Generative AI concepts and workflows.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

+ Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Experience:

+ 8 to 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java and/or Python development.

+ Prior experience working on cloud-native applications and deploying to GCP.

+ Background or exposure to AI/ML integration in application development is a plus.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
