    Overview

    **Pay:** $25.00 an hour

    Seeking a qualified individual to perform maintenance and repair on a variety of industrial equipment and vehicles in the airport environment. This individual will be required to perform preventative maintenance of vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment and to repair and rebuilding of these and other industrial equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles, making repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

    + Repair motorized equipment, specifically Isuzu NPR.

    + Program and understand the functions of lavatory and water components.

    + Repair and replace all tires and wheels.

    + Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on equipment.

    + Maintain records related to maintenance activities.

    + Drive and operate service equipment vehicles.

    + Report all incidents to Supervisors and Managers.

    + Answer all radioed repair calls on the ramp.

    + Ensure the effectiveness of our aircraft services team by providing proper preventative care and timely repairs to broken equipment.

    + Safely operate all vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE), performing Daily Equipment Checks (DEC’s).

    + Maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    + 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Must possess a valid US driver’s license.

    + Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

    + Available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

    + Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
