**Job Type:** Part-time; contract 12 months

**Schedule: Onsite;** M-F, 8am - 5 pm

**Location:** Trenton, NJ

**Pay:** $72.00 hr

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager with 5–10 years of experience in overseeing electrical **transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects** . This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage capital construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Plan, schedule, and coordinate **capital construction projects** involving transmission lines and substations.

+ Oversee construction progress, manage quality control, and ensure all project activities align with engineering specs and regulatory standards.

+ Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain workflow and safety compliance.

+ Manage **procurement of materials** , tools, and equipment required for each project phase.

+ Conduct **regular site inspections and meetings** to assess project status, address issues, and ensure alignment with goals.

+ Work closely with engineering teams, utility providers, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.

+ Track and manage **project budgets, timelines, and resources** .

+ Prepare and present **detailed reports** , project documentation, and risk assessments to leadership and stakeholders.

+ Enforce and promote **strict adherence to safety protocols** and environmental regulations.

+ Troubleshoot unexpected field issues and collaborate with teams to implement corrective solutions.

Required Qualifications:

+ 5-10 years of experience with Construction: Transmission, Distribution, & Substation – running capital construction management projects

+ Must have driver’s license and reliable transportation to go through the companies Territory

A Mid-level Construction Manager specializing in Transmission & Substation projects is responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities related to electrical transmission and substation projects.

Responsibilities may include:

+ Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets for transmission and substation projects.

+ Coordinating with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

+ Managing construction progress and quality to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.

+ Procuring materials, equipment, and services for transmission and substation projects.

+ Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards on construction sites.

+ Preparing project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.

+ Providing leadership and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.

+ Conducting site meetings and inspections.

+ Collaborating with project managers and senior management to address project risks and issues.Managing project budgets, costs, and resources.

Education

+ Bachelor Degree

**Pay Details:** $72.00 per hour
