Job Overview:

Five Star Food Service is seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Pensacola, FL. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the timely processing and distribution of food service products. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to safety will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Receiving and Inspection:** Accurately receive, inspect, and document shipments of food and beverage products. Verify incoming products against packing slips and ensure compliance with quality standards.- **Inventory Management:** Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and rotation of stock. Assist with regular inventory counts and reconciliation.- **Order Fulfillment:** Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery. Ensure orders are accurate and ready for dispatch in a timely manner.- **Shipping and Distribution:** Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment. Follow safety protocols to minimize the risk of injury and damage to products.- **Equipment Operation:** Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Complete safety checks and maintain equipment in good working order.- **Cleanliness and Organization:** Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and health regulations. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management.- **Team Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals. Provide support to other warehouse associates as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the work shift.

- Basic math and organizational skills.

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard operating procedures is preferred.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.
