    Summary:

    Vighter LLC is seeking a results-drivenBusiness Development Managerwith a deep understanding of thefederal contracting, acquisitions and procurement landscape. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new government contract opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and growing our presence within agencies such as theDepartment of Defense (DoD), Veterans Affairs (VA),Defense Health Agency (DHA), Health and Human Services (HHS), and other federal and state entities.

    Principle Accountabilities:

    + Identify and pursue new federal and state government contracting opportunities related to healthcare and medical support staffing services through capture and shaping activities.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with contracting officers, procurement personnel within target agencies and other partners within our industry space.

    + Respond to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and Sources Sought notices; coordinate proposal development in collaboration with internal teams.

    + Develop strategic teaming agreements, subcontractor partnerships, and vendor relationships to enhance bid competitiveness.

    + Track and maintain a pipeline of opportunities through tools like GovWin, SAM.gov, or similar.

    + Lead capability briefings, trade show participation, and business development meetings.

    + Collaborate with recruiting, compliance, and contracts teams to ensure operational readiness for awarded contracts.

    + Monitor government trends, procurement cycles, and set-aside opportunities (e.g., 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone).

    + Contribute to capture management, including customer analysis, competitor research, and pricing strategy input.

    Qualifications:

    + Education: Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field.

    + Experience: Minimum of three (3) yearsof experience ingovernmentcontracting/acquisitions.

    + Proven success in identifying, bidding, and winning federal contracts.

    + Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, federal procurement processes, and healthcare compliance requirements.

    + Experience using CRM and procurement tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, Salesforce, etc.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of writing proposals and conducting high-level presentations.

    + Ability to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, or site visits.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Masters degree inBusiness, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field is preferred.

    + Five (5) years of experience ingovernmentcontracting/acquisitions, preferably in themedical staffing or healthcare services sector.

    + CPCM is desired but not mandatory.

    Duty Hours / On-call Requirements:

    + The expected duty hours for this position are 8 hours per day and 5 days per week. There are times that this work may be conducted outside of standard business hours, with opportunities for travel to meet with potential clients.

    Work Environment:

    + Location: Vighter Corporate Office, San Antonio, TX

    + Supportive team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff.

    Travel:

    + Up to 50% as required in support of business objectives
