    Time to step up your career! This is your moment to shine and lead the way for others too. We?re hiring a full-time Alcohol Compliance Supervisor to join our passionate team at House of Blues. The Alcohol Compliance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all alcohol service operations comply with local, state, and federal liquor laws, as well as company policies. This role involves training staff, monitoring alcohol service, and working closely with management and security to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for guests at House of Blues.

    Job Responsibilities

    Oversee and enforce alcohol compliance policies throughout the venue.

     

    Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to ID verification, responsible service practices, and intoxication prevention.

     

    Work closely with security and management to handle alcohol-related incidents professionally and in accordance with company policy.

     

    Monitor guest behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent overconsumption and ensure a safe atmosphere.

     

    Maintain thorough and accurate records of compliance checks, incident reports, and staff certifications.

     

    Serve as the primary point of contact for local and state liquor control agencies during inspections or audits.

     

    Assist in developing and implementing ongoing training programs for alcohol service staff.

     

    Stay up to date on changing alcohol laws and regulations to ensure continued compliance.

     

    Support overall venue operations by assisting with guest services and event supervision as needed.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in alcohol service, compliance, or hospitality supervision.

     

    Knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws and best practices for responsible alcohol service.

     

    Certification in responsible alcohol service training (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred.

     

    Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and enforce policies effectively.

     

    Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

     

    Experience working in a fast-paced, live entertainment or hospitality environment preferred.

     

    Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.

     

    Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

     

    Exposure to loud music, crowds, and dynamic event environments.
