Job Responsibilities

+ Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to Health Department Codes and Aramark standards.

+ Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.

+ Assists with Receiving deliveries from vendors and inspects goods, verifying quality of goods, order accuracy and completeness.

+ Maintains available inventory in the café of available items for purchase, communicating items low on inventory timely to guarantee timely ordering.

+ Accurately operates the cash register/POS during peak café service hours by processing cash and credit card transactions.

+ Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits

+ Adheres to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures

+ Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co- workers, etc.

+ Ensuressecurityofcompanyassets

+ Adheres to the uniform policy.

Qualifications

+ Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation and safety procedures.

+ Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.

+ Previous cash handling experience preferred

+ Basic math & counting skills required

+ Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

+ Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location

+ Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
