Job Description

The Logistics Food Service Driver supports the operations team in running successful events, markets, and food service initiatives within the location. The Logistics Food Service Driver supports and carries out set up, transporting equipment, food, or other supplies to the food service location, serving guests during events, and breaking down/ cleaning up after an event.

Job Responsibilities

+ Requires frequent lifting, moving, carrying, pushing, pulling of over 50 pounds.

+ Set up and support catering events, campus food service equipment support, assist with the "heavy lifting" and Logistics with campus projects.

+ Load/unload, transport and deliver food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment.

+ Set up tables, canopies, trash, recycling, buffet lines and other event equipment as requested in event order

+ Loads product onto the truck daily

+ Stocks product to par levels and maintains accurate documentation of product levels

+ Report sales, waste, customer concerns, and/or machine and vehicle malfunctions daily

+ Maintain, services, and upkeeps cleanliness of vehicle and equipment

+ Maintains warehouse; Inventory, storage and care of equipment

+ Performs all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, company safety policies and procedures

+ Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers

+ Replenish Food and Beverage products during events, in markets and various locations

+ Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and organization of food service areas at all times

+ Pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service

+ Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage

+ Minor preparation of food items, and beverages, using and caring for kitchen equipment

+ Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, storage and logs

Qualifications

+ Must possess a valid driver?s license in good standing condition

+ Previous experience as a driver preferred

+ Previous customer service experience preferred

+ Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision

+ Must follow the required dress code as assigned

+ Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and event-based hours

+ Must be able to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds and extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
