    Position Summary

    Provides clinical services and psychotherapy for clients impacted by substance use and behavioral health disorders.

    Primary Position Responsibilities

    1.Provides substance use and behavioral health clinical services.

    2.Maintains compliance with all standards of JCAHO, DOH, regulatory agencies, and specialty recommendations.

    3.Maintains Patient Safety.

    4.Documentation of Care.

    5.Professional Development.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    Required:

    Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

    Preferred:

    None

    Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

    Required:

    Two years clinical experience

    Preferred:

    Experience working with mental health and substance use populations

    License, Registry or Certification:

    Required:

    NJ License LCADC, LCSW or LPC

    Preferred:

    None

    Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

    Required:

    Clinical training shall include diagnostic skills and clinical interventions for a wide range of substance use and behavioral health populations which meet accepted and current standards of care. Must have the ability to facilitate groups. Skilled in Crisis Intervention. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to organize and prioritize, works effectively in stressful situations. Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and positive interpersonal skills required.

    Preferred:

    Experience with co-occurring disorders preferred.
