    Responsibilities - Lab Medical Asst I:

    + Responsible for collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing.

    + Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens, referring specimens to outside laboratories, interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests, performance of phlebotomy procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Credentials:

    + **Essential:** Driver's License

    + Non- **Essential:** Laboratory Experience

    Education:

    + Required - High School or Equivalent
