    Preferred Qualifications

    Role Purpose

     

    Provides Maintenance and Engineering services. Provides the necessary skill and craft for operation and maintenance of HVAC and physical plant systems in a manner to ensure safe operation, optimum performance and maximum efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Keeps equipment clean and operational. Handles and disposes of hazardous and or infectious waste properly and practices infection control. Adheres to regulatory guidelines.

    + Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of all refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.

    + Performs troubleshooting and repairs on equipment and systems as assigned.

    + Maintains the hospital's building automation system and responds to system alarms, making necessary changes to controls and notifies management.

    + Responds to work order requests and emergencies.

    + High School Diploma or GED

    Experience
