    BMW of Minnetonka Light Duty Service Technician

     

    We are looking for a skilled and motivated Light Duty Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Light Duty Service Technician, you will perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring that our customers' cars are safe and reliable.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and battery replacements

    + Conduct vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose issues

    + Complete minor repairs and adjustments on various vehicle systems, including brakes, tires, and suspension

    + Communicate with the service advisor and customers about the status of their vehicles

    + Assist in maintaining inventory levels of commonly used parts and supplies

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the service manager

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in automotive technology is preferred

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems and components

    + Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    + Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

     

    This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes:Commission(s) off: N/ABonuses based on: Production ProductivityThe Flat Rate Range for this position is: $19.45 to $20.75
