We are inviting applications for the role of a Senior Billing and Accounts Payable Analyst in the Energy/Natural Resources industry.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Billing & Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in Department of Energy (DOE) regulations including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 31), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Key focus areas for this position include preparing and processing billing, accounts payable, reconciliations, and project reporting in accordance with contractual requirements. This position requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to navigate government billing systems and guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Maintain and update customer credit records on an ongoing basis.

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Monitor the status of customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions.

• Prepare and process billing, accounts payable, and reconciliations in line with contractual requirements.

• Navigate government billing systems and guidelines effectively.

• Utilize accounting software systems for various accounting functions.

• Stay updated with DOE regulations including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 31), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

• Perform periodic auditing to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.

• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and billing functions.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Billing Analyst role, preferably within the Energy/Natural Resources industry

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems for financial operations

• Experience with Aderant is considered an asset

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for streamlined financial processes

• Knowledge of Costpoint for project accounting, reporting, and billing

• Competency in CRM for managing company's relationships and interactions with customers

• Practical experience with About Time for real-time job costing and mobile resource management

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions, including but not limited to, maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger

• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all revenues are recorded accurately and within the appropriate period

• Proven experience in Auditing, reviewing financial statements and transactions for accuracy

• Proficiency in performing Billing Functions, producing invoices, account statements, and financial reports

• Familiarity with CFR Title 21, ensuring compliance with the regulations in the preparation and submission of financial reports.
