Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at [Construction Firm Name]. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and facilitating efficient cash flow for the organization.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

+ Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients based on contract terms and project milestones.

+ Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely payment.

+ Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries.

+ Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and ensure accuracy in financial records.

+ Prepare and maintain reports on accounts receivable status, including aging analysis and cash flow projections.

+ Assist in month-end closing activities and support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.

+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.

+ Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
