    Job Overview:

    As a Telemetry Technician, you will Provides physicians and nurses with data for use in the diagnosis and the planning of interventions related to cardiac conditions

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School Graduate

    + Completion of dysrhythmia course

    + Enrolled in an Accredited Nursing program helpful

    + REQUIREMENTS

    + 12 Lead ECG competency

    + Previous clinical/patient care experience

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Preferred:

    Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

    Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

    + 22 Hours

    + Evenings

    + Part-time

    Essential Functions:

    + Conducts cardiac monitoring on adolescent to geriatric patients, including application of monitors, rhythm interpretation, and performance of 12 lead EKG

    + Participates in hospital quality improvement activities

    + Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to determine each patient's age-specific needs and provide age specific treatment
