    Description

    A company in San Marcos is seeking a Payroll Specialist with strong technical skills to ensure smooth and efficient payroll processing operations. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and have strong interpersonal skills, this is the ideal role for you!

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.

    + Review and reconcile payroll reports, addressing errors or discrepancies promptly.

    + Stay updated on labor laws and tax regulations to ensure compliance.

    + Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, compensation, and benefits.

    + Support payroll audits and assist with implementing process improvements.

    Requirements

    + Experience: 2–4 years of payroll experience preferred; multi-state payroll knowledge is a plus.

    + Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong confidentiality regarding payroll matters.

    + Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll platforms such as ADP, Paycom, or Kronos.

    + Attributes: Dependable, adaptable, and a team player.
